I used to long to be loved by someone and it caused me to search for love in all the wrong places. One day, I realized how much God loved me and the search was over. I finally found what I had been longing for. Once I experienced His love, I knew that everything else was a counterfeit. My old discovery of love satisfied me temporarily, it was only a quick fix and always kept me wanting more. A quick fix is an easy remedy or solution, especially a temporary one which fails to address underlying problems. I could no longer settle for that when God’s love is complete, it makes me whole and perfect. His love is everlasting. It’s a well that’ll never run dry.
Has anyone ever wrote you a book telling you how much they love you?
God wrote the Bible, a book with 66 books in it that express His never ending love for you and how far He went to win your heart. “God’s unfailing love for us is an objective fact affirmed over and over in the Scriptures. It is true whether we believe it or not. Our doubts do not destroy God’s love, nor does our faith create it. It originates in the very nature of God, who is love, and it flows to us through our union with His beloved Son.” If no one ever told you they loved you again, God tells you everyday. If no one ever gave you anything again, He gives you His love everyday and it’s the best gift ever.
It’s amazing that God doesn’t base His love on conditions like people do. He doesn’t love people just because they love Him. You may have loved Him for _ *insert number here* years, but He’s loved you before the world began. He loved you even when you didn’t love Him. (Romans 5:8- But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.) (1 John 4:9-10- God showed how much He loved us by sending His only Son into this wicked world to bring to us eternal life through His death. In this act we see what real love is: it is not our love for God but His love for us when He sent His Son to satisfy God’s anger against our sins.) (Romans 8:38-39- For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are—high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean—nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He died for us.) Forever is a long time and that’s how long He’ll love you. You’ll die before His love runs out for you because it’s endless. True love doesn’t have a happy ending.
True love has no ending.
