Overcoming Fear of Failure
When God created everything, he created man and gave us all dominion. The enemy saw this and tried to create doubt and fear. As a result, Adam and Eve essentially lost it all while trying to gain what they thought they needed. How many times have you allowed the enemy to cause you to lose sight of your true power?
Are you afraid of failure? You have been equipped with everything that you need in order to find success in this life. The best thing that you can do in order to overcome your fears is to face them. Take action towards the area that you fear the most. The only true way to conquer fear is to face it. Quiet as it’s kept, there is no reason to fear failure. Every time you fail, you have an opportunity to learn and grow. As you embrace the failure you will find areas that give you the opportunity to become stronger. If you are afraid, perhaps it is because you are trusting in your own abilities rather than in God’s ability to save you. When you trust that God is with you, you will find yourself in a space where you can win and overcome every obstacle. God has the ability to deliver you from every fear that you have. (Psalm 34:4). He is waiting for you to let go and accept the peace that comes from knowing that he cares about you.
Don’t Give Up
You can only fail if you quit. Most of the time people think that they need to give up when things get difficult. Many successful people are able to be successful because they understand the importance of endurance. In order to overcome the fear of failure, you need to remain resilient about the things that you know to be true concerning your purpose, goals, and vision. When people give up they forfeit the purposes and plans that God has for their lives. Stay in the race. Learn what you need to learn from failure and use it as a tool to get to the next level. Galatians 6:9 advises us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” This means that at the appointed time you will find the success that you are looking for. A harvest comes as a result of a seed. Once your seed has been planted and cultivated you will reap a harvest in due time.
Trust the Process
We live in a society that paints this picture of overnight success. Nonetheless, many times when people become successful they do so over a period of time. Take action and be persistent in your attempt to achieve your goals. Whether you are starting a business, writing a book, or trying to lose a few pounds in order to live your best life, remember that it is a process. God often times uses transitional periods in your life in order to build and produce character. Being processed is not fun but, it is necessary Can you imagine wearing a piece of jewelry that was not fully processed as it was being heated? The process is not always pretty. In fact, it can be painful at times. However, it is necessary. If you are currently going through your own refining process, just know that you are going to make it through.
