Have you ever met someone who was “Born to Boss?” I know what you’re thinking ‘That’s excessive. Overstated. Exaggerated.’ And you’re right. It would be … if it wasn’t true. Allow me to introduce you to, well, ME!

Hey there! I’m Nathalie Nicole Smith. I was trained for greatness right out of the womb. My father refused to baby me or let me believe I was weak just because I was a female. In fact, he lovingly called me his “Junior” to instill in me that I was just as strong, powerful and intelligent as a man. I was in country clubs reciting mantras about success by the age of 5. I did more to prepare for global takeover before Kindergarten than most people do in their entire lives!

I soon learned to strive for greatness on my own. As I went through grade school and moved on to college, I began to foster my own ambitions and dreams. A native of Silver Spring, Maryland, I decided to stay close and attend the prestigious Howard University in nearby Washington, DC. I double-majored in Communications and Business and in 2010, I successfully graduated with my Bachelor’s.

Entrepreneurship has always been my core desire. Of course I did a few other jobs to make ends meet. I was a makeup artist for MAC, and I also worked in bottle service, which I leveraged to make some strong business partnerships in the DC area. But I was never satisfied with working for someone else. I also have a passion for youth and mentoring. I spent the last 12 years mentoring and tutoring local DC youth, while freelancing across the country offering wellness, beauty and business consulting: All for the betterment and love of the community.

I am now a driving force in the beauty and wellness industry. After graduating, I became a well-known philanthropist in the urban communities. I also embarked upon several entrepreneurial endeavors. In 2011, I founded Plush Beauty, an online eco-beauty company.  As the founder of Plush, I have weathered the ups and downs of being a business owner. I also undertook the task of branding Plush into several offshoots, including Plush Rx and Plush Enterprises. All of that hard work led to many accolades, including being selected by 93.9 WKYS as a “Top 30 Under 30” honoree in 2013.

In 2015, I partnered with Total Life Changes, and their amazing health and wellness products! Beauty is more than what you see on the outside, so I joined the campaign to help 1000 families become healthy and wealthy. I quickly climbed the TLC ranks to National Director and earned six figures in less than one year! Along the way I have discovered my true passion and purpose. I am training women across the globe to find the confidence within themselves to be independent and free in multiple areas of their life. Out of that passion comes Women Who Boss. I desire for other young women like myself to receive the tools, network and mentorship I desired when I began chasing my dreams. I want them to understand that they can fight. They can grind. They can Boss Up, earn multiple six figures and have the life they always dreamed of. “I’ve always wanted to help other women feel free … I want them to know that life is about living on purpose.”
